A beta version of the ECO (Extra Customization Options for Ubercart) module was released on Drupal.org today. As the name implies, this module provides some additional customization options for Drupal / Ubercart sites

The module requires the newest version of Ubercart - version 2.3 - as it leverages some API changes in Ubercart. The newest version of Ubercart has many fantastic changes, so we would encourage you to upgrade. Among other things, customizing order notification templates is simpler and better!

Opportunities for more individuals, businesses, and organizations to leverage the power of Drupal has been expanding through Acquia. And now, a new product and service from Acquia in the form of DrupalGardens.com, will push Drupal in the direction of being more of a Software as a Service (Saas).
Drupal is already used by many large and high profile entities, but this is not the case to the extent that it could be. There is still considerable usage of less powerful products or expensive proprietary systems. Certainly, the switch by Obama's White House to Drupal helps with the evangelization of Drupal, but this new Acquia service should also help.

New Version of Custom Node Template (Free Drupal Module) Released
Version 1.4 of the Custom Node Template module for Drupal provides several new features including thumbnails.
The new features in version 1.4 of the Custom Node Template module for Drupal includes support for thumbnails, CCK, and Vertical Tabs.
Now, instead of just having a list of node templates displayed in the settings when creating (or editing) a page on your Drupal site, you have the option to show thumbnails as well. For those who are more graphically oriented, you can create thumbnails in the form of a PNG image to represent a node template. Simply add these to your Drupal theme (main folder). In order to have a thumbnail image displayed next to the template name, you only need to give the image the same name as the template (minus the extension).

In additional to customized and one-on-one Drupal training, we're pleased to introduce a number of online Drupal training sessions.
We've had the pleasure of training a variety of clients on how to use Drupal. Providing training and consulting for Drupal - and discussing the benefits and features of Drupal - is something we love to do!
Now, to provide more opportunities for Drupal training to meet a variety of needs, we're pleased to begin offering online Drupal training classes and workshops. We plan to continue to expand our offering of training classes. Initially, we're scheduling both a one-time, 90-minute Drupal Basics and Overview training class, as well as an extended workshop on Drupal basics that takes place in three, 90-minute training sessions.

Getting Ready for the Re-Design of OneNewEngland.com
Several months back, we had the pleasure of helping One New England move from their existing platform at the time to the more robust and powerful Drupal platform. It was a complete website transfer with many pages of content. At the time, we weren't involved in any re-design work. But we laid the groundwork for a more flexible and powerful content management system, as well as introducing new features in time.
