There are some things available with CSS 2 that seem to not be used that often. So this is short little post to point out one of the things that can be done with CSS.
There are many options for controlling the display of images dynamically with PHP, Javascript, and other libraries. With Drupal sites, I have become quite fond of the plethora of options that come with Imagecache and its related modules. But there are options for controlling the display of images with CSS alone, including a way to keep the aspect ratio of an image without using various scripts and libraries.
